Design
In my collection of works, I wanted to explore the raw emotions associated with human connection and how humans express themselves. Human connection right now is so important because people can find it hard to be vulnerable and authentic to themselves. Even with access to almost every human on the planet, we find ourselves disconnected from what human connection is on the emotional, spiritual and physical levels. In the paintings that depict my idea of emotion, I incorporate a theme of red because, historically, the colour has many different meanings. I also use various forms of technology to give examples of how we have found ways to express ourselves. My works are supposed to be subjective; I want the viewer to have their own ideas of what my collection means to them, just like how they mean something to me.

“L’existence d’un rat” delves into philosophical notions of existence and the meaning we attach to our lives. By juxtaposing the rat’s humble existence with our own human experiences, I encourage viewers to contemplate the larger implications of our actions and confront the undeniable parallels that exist between us.

Drawing inspiration from Pipilotti Rist’s use of vibrant colours, playful imagery, and sensorial narratives, my video delves into the depths of emotions, memories, and dreams. Through a kaleidoscope of layered visuals and rhythmic compositions, I aim to awaken the senses and provoke contemplation on our interconnectedness with the world around us.
