Sense of place 2020

Objects

The reasoning behind this picture is that I wanted an eerie looking picture that plays off of the 50s housewife stereotype. This picture was taken at night with the flash.

Self-portrait

This photo was based off of a zombie apocalypse setting, the image of the world crumbling around the main characters just when they thought they had won. I used the dim lighting in my room to make this photo creepy.

Portrait

In this photo I used a mini light on top of my camera with purple cellophane over the top to create a black light which is what makes the eyeshadow glow. This photo was based off of a show that has major lgbt+ representation.

Architecture

This is a house on my street that I have admired for years, all the flowers and nature on the house are so mesmerizing. I took the photo and went into ‘Polarr’, the photo editing software and edited it to look a bit more heavenly, like a heaven on earth.

Frame within a frame

With this photo, I was happy with the result and didn’t have to edit it. This was taken in the English quad at school on a stump with a mirror that we found in class and flowers that were around the stump.

Graphics

I was able to get this picture before they rubbed it off which I think is really lucky because I thought it was really funny. This shot just makes me laugh occasionally.
